Is a substance commonly used in diet pills. It stimulates central nervous system, cardiovascular system, and muscles. So, it is good for quick energy boost. It also stimulates thermogenesis and promotes mental focus. It can cause high blood pressure, but people who are used to high doses of caffeine (for example, heavy coffee drinkers). Can cause tachycardia, insomnia, nervousness, stomach upset, nausea, vomiting, rapid pulse and hard breathing, headache, anxiety, chest pain, ringing in ears, high intraocular pressure.

Adipex

Adipex (phentermine) is an appetite suppressant, stimulant like an amphetamine. It influences the work of the central nervous system. This product is usually used in combination with exercises and diet to treat obese people with high cholesterol, high blood pressure, or diabetes.
Adipex is often used in extremely overweight people who can't control their weight with physical exercises and diet. This medication works by increasing energy level, decreasing appetite, or by affecting certain parts of the brain. The product belongs to the class of medications called sympathomimetic amines.
Adipex has to be taken by mouth according to the doctor's directions, usually once a day, an hour before breakfast or 1-2 hours after breakfast. All the doctor's instructions should be attentively followed. Taking Adipex before going to bed may cause insomnia. The dosage depends on the medical condition of a particular patient. It's the doctor who has to adjust the proper dose. This medication should be used regularly.

Adipex is an appetite suppressant which may lead to a number of side effects including dizziness, difficulty sleeping, dry mouth, irritability, vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, constipation, etc. If any of these effects worsen, stop taking the medication and inform your doctor. You should immediately ask for a medical aid if you feel any of these serious side effects: fast or irregular heartbeat, uncontrolled muscle movements, mental or mood changes (agitation, hallucinations, uncontrolled anger, nervousness), change in sexual ability or interest.
Some other side effects may also occur: slurred speech, severe headache, seizure, vision changes or weakness on one side of the body. This drug may also lead to serious (even fatal) lung diseases or heart problems (heart valve problems, pulmonary hypertension). The longer this medication is used the higher the risk is. If you notice any of the next side effects, immediately stop taking Adipex and visit your doctor: chest pain, lowered ability to exercise, difficulty breathing with exercise, swelling of the legs or feet, fainting.
